Ltd..<br>FFI (Financial Fusion) Senior Software Engineer – Quality Assurance网上银行项目高级软件测试工程师<br>Purpose of the Position: <br>Designs, develops and implements tests, result evaluations and rework for all product components in support of delivery of quality software products that meet customer specifications. Implements and maintains software programs for computer-based systems. Works independently and with a team requiring independent technical judgment. This position performs test development and maintenance for complex product features or test scenarios. Expertise is limited to a single functional area of systems specialization and learning at least one additional functional specialty. <br>Major Duties and Responsibilities: <br>Technical <br>Designs, implements, documents and maintains complex systems and application programming interfaces. <br>Uses established software engineering concepts, principles and processes to achieve committee results. <br>Identifies enhanced or replacement processes to achieve objectives. <br>Determines approach, design, implementation of unit tests for product components. <br>Understands how product components use and are used by other components in the product. <br>Develop test plans for defined projects. <br>Implements and teaches test development methodology. <br>Investigates new configuration management tools and methods. <br>Performs test specification, maintenance, execution, analysis, and code reviews for assinged features. <br>Participates in product specification and code reviews. <br>Executes tests, analyzes failures and reports results. <br>Performs other related duties as assigned. <br><br>Behavior <br>Communicates information directly and clearly. Supports the business needs of the business unit and Sybase through ideas, action planning and communication. <br><br>Planning <br>Determines the major tasks necessary to achieve the goals and develops detailed task breakdowns, time estimates and a work plan to build, test and maintain the product. <br>Applies sound technical, projects and past experience in estimating task size and duration. <br>Executes the work plan, independently providing intermediate progress and exception reports to appropriate managers and project leaders. <br>Highlights exceptions to the plan, identifying actions being taken to address the exceptions. <br>Achieves the committed results within the time frame, functionality, performance and quality objectives established for the project. <br>Develops test plans for assigned projects. <br>Develops work procedure guidelines/templates for assigned projects. <br>May act as a technical lead for assigned projects. <br>Highlights risks early. Incorporates risk elimination early into work plans. <br>Education and Related Experience: <br>BS/BSCS & 5-7 years or MS/MSCS & 4-6 years <br><br>Experience in formal testing role for an end-market product. <br>Must be proficient in Sybase and familiar with other RDBMS, such as Oracle and Informix. <br>Must be highly proficient in C, C++, Java, or 4GL. <br><br>Must be highly proficient in SQL <br>Must be highly proficient with one of the following operating system environments: Unix (Solaris preferred), Windows NT. <br>Is familiar with software engineering concepts and object oriented methodology. <br>Is familiar with: Database drivers: ODBC, JDBC, Client server architecture, Networking protocols: TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, DECnet. Working knowledge of Java required. <br>Demonstrated proficiency in: formal test development, one or more testing technology (test automation, code coverage, performance testing, code complexity analysis, behaviour modelling, etc.). <br>Demonstrated problem solving and product debugging skills. <br>Demonstrated leadership qualities. <br><br>Problem Solving/Judgment and Decision Making: <br>Problem Solving/Judgment: <br>Business Impact <br>Generally considers long range technical issues in addition to specific product issues in all actions and tasks. <br>Acts as a liaison on specific project between departments, functional areas and/or customers. <br>Interactions involve matters of importance where maintaining effective working relationships is a prime concern to the department objectives. <br><br><br>Problem Resolution <br>Identifies and aggressively raises and drives resolution of identified issues using time as the most critical resource. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and for obtaining results. <br>Normally provides information, assistance and recommendations that are used in the department management decision-making process. <br>Responsible for the quality of technical education in the company in one or more of the following ways: teaches courses, provides technical training to less experienced Engineers, constructs curriculum or instructional plans for courses, prepares white papers, obtains patents. <br><br>Supervision: <br>Supervision Required: <br>Requires little to no supervision. Can take an assigned project and drive it to completion. Work is subject to review during implementation to ensure compliance with objectives and policies. <br><br><br>Supervision Given: <br>Has no formal supervisory responsibility, though may ocasionally act as technical lead for assigned projects. <br>Contacts: <br>Acts as a liaison on specific projects between departments, functional areas and/or cutomers. Understands the customer requirements for the product component being developed. Presents detailed product information to customers during visits.
