This will involve developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures that define the requirements of the Maintenance and Calibration system. Establishing and maintaining a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that measure the effectiveness and compliance of the Maintenance and Calibration system. <br><br>- Establish and maintain a master instrument list of all instruments across the site. Ensure each instrument has a classification, GMP critical, Safety critical and for information only. <br>- Establish and maintain a Calibration master plan which defines the calibration schedule for each piece of equipment over a 12 month basis. <br>- Develop and maintain technical Standard Operating Procedures that define who each type instrument will be calibrated in-line with industry wide procedures and the requirements of the GSK QMS. <br>- Own the site calibration standards that must be maintained on-site to allow calibration activities to be performed.<br>- Classify each calibration based on the activity being, quality critical, and safety critical or non-critical. <br>- Establish and maintain the master file for each instrument. <br>- Own the manual for each instrument, this may be held within the instrument file. <br>- Issue work orders for the completion of planned calibration work and liase with the local government to complete all calibration work. <br>- Ensure each instrument has a valid calibration sticker attached that details the instrument number, the last successful calibration and when the next calibration is due. <br>- Ensure any calibration deviations are raised by the equipment owner and are approved by Site Quality.
