This position receives supervision and requires a basic level of knowledge and experience to accomplish goals. <br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>&#8226; Consult with HR Manager or other HR team member as needed to resolve issues and implement actions while developing HR knowledge and experience. <br>&#8226; Assist in providing first line support to employees and managers on Human Resources issues, including answering questions, researching and resolving issues, and processing related paperwork: <br> o Benefit Plans - Options and Enrollment <br> o Company Policies & Procedures <br> o Employee Handbook Interpretation <br>&#8226; Assist in resolving Employee Relations Issues and ensure proper and complete documentation: <br> o Employee Complaints <br> o Conflict Resolution / Mediation <br> o Investigations <br>&#8226; Facilitate New Hire Orientations: <br> o Interact with concerned departments to arrange logistics for employee's first day appropriate resources <br> o Process all related paperwork <br>&#8226; Manage termination process: <br> o Process related paperwork <br> o Respond to Unemployment Claims <br> o Represent CA in any unemployment or related hearings <br>&#8226; Strategize with managers to implement HR initiatives designed to improve organizational performance. <br>&#8226; Assist managers with and review and approve disciplinary actions and involuntary terminations. <br>&#8226; Ensure compliance with country specific employment regulations and guidelines<br>&#8226; Participate in team projects such as regional newsletters, community relations programs and events, meetings, employee events, etc. <br>&#8226; Assist in the development of HR policies in order to satisfy legal requirements, cost containments, and work environments consistent with CA's core values. <br>&#8226; Promote and manage local implementation of corporate driven HR programs and initiatives. <br>&#8226; Conduct presentations and facilitate training on HR related topics at departmental meetings, town hall meetings and other forums. <br><br>Typical Role Definition<br><br>Professional Staff. Has learned the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field of study, not yet the formal application of these concepts, practices, and procedures.<br>Administrative Staff. Provides administrative or technical support at an administrative support specialist level. Highly proficient in a broad range of activities related to their job. May be designated as a ‘lead’ employee in a larger work group with many similarly skilled and assigned individuals or to mentor to more junior technical or administrative support personnel. Must have experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and working in an environment which requires flexibility, innovation, superb customer service skills and organization.
