Job descriptions:<br>- Leads and supports the purchasing activities of THE COMPANY-China. Supports THE COMPANY Purchasing in making strategic worldwide purchasing decisions for materials, components, services and tooling with the right quality, flexible delivery and logistics and at competitive total costs.<br>-Assists in development of International Supply Strategies.<br>-Coordinates supply management activities. <br>-Develops, maintains, and coordinates a quality supplier base. <br>-Ensures support of operations and/or programs in Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE), Ensures supplier improvement and post-launch support.<br>-Contributes toward advancement of THE COMPANY’s vital supply community. <br>-Creates measurements and indicators to monitor the economic health, operating systems, capacity and contract performance of each supplier to assure that cost, quality, delivery, and service expectations are met. <br>-Participates in contract management. <br>-Functions as a liaison between suppliers and THE COMPANY China. <br>-Participates as a member of the THE COMPANY China Team. <br>-Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. <br><br><br>Requirements:<br>-Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Master’s Degree preferred. <br>-Minimum ten years broad, business background with progressive materials and procurement experience including five years management experience. <br>-Demonstrated project and program management skills and proven financial capabilities to maintain quality, cost, and timing of programs. <br>-Demonstrated strong communication skills to work with internal and external contacts at all levels within the organization, represent the company in a professional manner, and to sell concepts to customers and strategies to external and internal management <br>-Experience in international business. <br>-Strong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and changing priorities. <br>-Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills in order to perform job duties independently and make decisions, which meet company goals and objectives. <br>-A commitment to the THE COMPANY values of Solid, Soft and Risky.</p>
