Assist with planning and preparation of the company’s tax policy ensuring it complies with all legal and ethical standards in a manner which optimizes tax costs.<br>? Prepare the company’s tax returns and liaise with relevant Government Departments as required<br>? Provide taxation advice to management teams within the organization.<br>? Assist Group Tax Director in transfer pricing documentation project<br>? Continually updating knowledge of relevant tax laws and legislation that will impact upon the company and ensuring organizational compliance.<br><br>Required Vocational skills <br><br>? Have a knowledge on PBOC/SAFE’s regulations<br>? Understand bank’s lending policy<br>? Knowledge on China local tax law<br>? Have a background on financial analysis<br>? Managerial skills – good listener, organizational skills, delegation capabilities<br>? Good team player<br>? Needs to feel responsible for own functional area, but also a critical part of the ultimate success or failure of local operations <br>? Openness in communications<br>? Able to deal with multiple requests, multiple bosses, etc<br><br>General Requirements <br><br>1. Working knowledge of US GAAP<br>2. Knowledge of Chinese Statutory reporting requirements<br>3. Written and verbal skills in both English<br>4. From a manufacturing environment – a must<br>5. From a joint venture environment – a nice to have<br>6. CPA/CMA certificate holder – a plus<br>7. Minimum of at least a BS or BA, with a major in Accounting or Finance <br>8. Minimum 5 experience in a treasury role<br>9. Minimum overall finance experience 8 years including some level of tax work<br>10. Adequate knowledge of taxation law, and to be continually updated.<br>11.
