They manufacture microprocessors, network processors, and memory components that power the majority of computers sold today. Technicians accomplish their work in one of our 15 fabrication facilities worldwide, using the most advanced manufacturing processes, including 300MM wafer and 65-nanometer technology. <br><br>Responsibilities/What you’ll do:<br><br>- perform and role model precision maintenance – preventative and corrective.<br>- ensure that maintenance is performed the right way and the same way every time<br>- train, coach, and mentor peer technicians<br>- perform tasks requiring an extremely high level of technical competence, and those requiring skills developed through experience and solid theoretical understanding<br> <br>Qualifications/What you bring:<br><br>- You must have 2+ years work experience in equipment maintenance or other related position.<br> - An equipment technician must demonstrate competency in the following areas: <br>- knowledge of safety hazards <br>-knowledge of maintenance content<br>- knowledge of equipment troubleshooting (electrical, robotic, pneumatic, mechanical, optical, control systems, etc.) <br>- knowledge of equipment/process interactions<br>- knowledge of automation applications (RCTs, station controllers, tool controllers) <br>- knowledge of machine theory, major components, and general systems (high vacuum, electro-mechanical servo, robotics, gasses, liquids, electronics) <br>- Ability to accept constructive feedback as well as provide feedback to others <br>- Ability to rapidly adapt to changes in schedules and environment <br>- Ability to drive and own resolution of safety issues<br>- Good problem solving ability <br>- A self starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities <br>- Excellent verbal and/or written communication skills, excellent computer literacy and basic math skills <br>- Flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations <br>- Experience in training others would be an added advantage<br>- English language skills are required – proficient with reading and writing is the minimum.
