The position will direct the sales activities of resellers, system integrators and value added resellers to meet order quotas for the territory. <br>2. Sales activities will be directed to the processing plants, research and engineering centers and responsible government ministries of the refining, petrochemical, chemical, steel and bio-pharmaceutical industries in China. <br>3. Multi-tier sales opportunities require close collaboration and team selling with other territory sales reps including Chinese projects awarded to engineering procurement and construction companies (EPC) or analyzer packaged system integrators located outside China. <br>4. The position is responsible for assuring products are qualified and biased when major new or upgrade construction projects are bid that include process analyzers or when government ministerial approvals are required.<br>5. Travel required is 40-50%<br><br>Other duties:<br><br>1. Insure resellers are actively promoting and are properly trained on products.<br>2. Submit an annual business plan for the territory.<br>3. Responsible for timely response to customer request for quotations and the necessary collaboration with product managers. <br>4. Provide periodic status reports and orders forecast as required by the Worlwide Sales Manager.<br>5. Maintain an up-to-date customer and prospect list for the territory.<br>6. Position is responsible for lead development by networking the installed base and local sources as well as through timely follow up of leads sent by Marketing.<br>7. Assist the Marketing Manager in determining territory Marcom needs such as trade show exhibits, seminars, etc.<br>8. Actively participate in sales meetings and product training programs and maintain technical proficiency in products.<br>9. Maintain and improve sales skills by attending sales training courses as directed by company management.<br><br><br>Education:<br><br>BA/BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics. <br>BA/BS in Industrial Engineering or Life Science is acceptable with a strong analytical chemistry background. <br>Graduate degree highly desireable.<br><br><br>Experience/Qualifications<br><br>1. 5-7 years of chemical process experience in HPI--Hydrocarbon Processing Industry or CPI--Chemical Process Industry including 3-5 years of process analytical sales experience. <br>2. Experience as a project analyzer engineer or system integrator is also highly desireable. <br>3.
