General Summary:<br>(Outline the purpose of this position. Why does this position exist at COMPANY?)<br>Full responsibility for the Operations of the Blades BU in Suzhou, China. This capacity includes: Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Planning. As the Operations Manager of this unit, the factory manager is responsible of planning and executing Capacity adjustments (equipment, staffing, space, etc.), Cost Reduction activities, Copy-Exact maintaining, and more.<br><br>2. Responsibility for the Capacity adjustments of the whole Operations of Blades in Suzhou, according to market conditions, forecasts, etc, based on BU management decisions. This includes both Planning and executing of the Capacity adjustments (ramps and reductions). All aspects are under his responsibility, including Manpower, Equipment, Layouts, etc. 15 <br>2. Responsibility for the Budget planning and control of the Blades Operations in Suzhou, aligned with the BU’s goals and targets, and with the support of the local Finance team. 15 <br>3. Leadership of Cost-Reduction Activities. Seeking for any opportunity to cut costs, by improving Yield & Productivity, Finding cheaper sources for materials, etc. 15 <br>4. Support and manage R&D to production process and ensure smooth and fast engineering projects implementation . 15 <br>5. Ensuring the COMPANY Suzhou supporting units (Logistics, Finance, QA, etc.) are providing Blades with all the required support, and making sure it aligns with the Blades standards (Inventory models, Unit-Cost reports and analysis, Customer-Complaints reports, etc.). 15 <br>6. Develop and maintain the Managerial level of Blades. Be alerted to their needs, and take proactive measures to ensure the Turn-Over of this critical level stays very low. 10 <br>7. Fight the high Turn-Over figures in the Direct employees level. Cooperate with HR and other factory managers to build and lead these activities. 10 <br>8.
