Job Responsibilities: <br>1.Essential Job Functions:<br>Sales Activities<br>-Centrally coordinate with Tier 1 CEM customers especially when those who have more than one operation plant in China and ensure local CEM FSR on the same page and operate well accordingly<br>-Proactively maintain and develop the customer relationship with the sourcing, purchasing and accounting teams<br>-Ensure the transfer orders from Richardson Electronics non-China areas to China smoothly and successfully<br>-Increase the market share although the BOM has been pre-determinated by taking the shortage opportunities, being one of the qualified vendors<br>-Have market analysis and strategies for Tier 2 & 3 CEM customers and bring out the solid action plans for the local FSR to follow. Develop new account penetration strategies, including prospecting, where account shows potential. Sometimes need to have the market development to model the way for the local FSR.<br>-Make regular sales calls/visits. Ratio of time spent inside to outside is set as a goal by the direct supervisor. (S)he is expected to “close the sale” and grow the business.<br>-Maintain contact and develop a working business relationship with our supplier's sales force. Balance the effort with the supplier against the potential volume.<br>-Make “buddy” calls with supplier's sales people when it is strategically and tactically necessary.<br>-Lead and coordinate with the Field Sales Representative and Inside Sales to drive for effective sales.<br>SERVICING FUNCTIONS<br>-Provides with the competitive market information.<br>-Assists in expediting, request for credit, credit issues, special orders, returns, sample request, follow-up letters, literature requests with Field Sales Representative when required/requested.<br>-Report product weaknesses and complaints to the appropriate vendor and product management.<br>-Report service weaknesses and complaints to the appropriate REL department.<br>-Work in conjunction with FSR to keep the information on the ROBINET system updated.<br>TERRITORY MANAGEMENT<br>-Balance the frequency and duration of sales calls to the customer's sourcing/purchasing and other teams to attain sales and gross margin goals.<br>-Plan the mix of customer calls, buddy calls and supplier sales calls to optimize the districts contribution of gross margin dollars to the corporation.<br>-Balance the engineering effort with customers against potential volume.<br><br><br>2.Non-essential Job Functions:<br>-Attends and participates in sales meetings, trade shows and training seminars as required and assigned.<br>-Keeps informed on market changes and trends relating to products in the industry and report these to product management.<br>-Prepare and submits all required reports in a timely manner.<br>-Assist with training of FSR on product, market and customers as required by the demands of the district.<br>-Maintain sales portfolios, samples, kits, etc.<br>-Maintain loyalty and respect for the company.<br>-Assist in review of FSR.<br>-Draw upon resident technical skills of other RWC team members to support sales activity.<br><br>Supervisory Responsibilities: <br>-Coordinate with local FSRs to ensure them on the same page of the information of the same CEM but different operations across China<br>-Develop and optimized the business modules with CEM accounts and train the local FSR<br><br>Qualification Requirements:<br>-Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent<br>-Either a project mgr or a sourcing veteran from a global EMS, or a CEM KAM from any electronic components vendor/distributor <br>-Minimum 8 years of experience <br>-Good communication skills, good sales expertise, team work, can-do attitude, positive thinking, ownership, capable of execution, hard work<br><br>Working Environment: <br>Travel 40%</p>
