Elevate deficiencies to department managers.<br>-Advocates and fosters a team environment within both the department and throughout the division.<br>-Accountable for all aspects of the project including; delivery, performance to schedule, performance to budget, cash flow.<br>-Responsible for maintaining Customer Satisfaction.<br>-Follow in-house guidelines and standards to direct the daily project activities and co-ordinate the work of the members of the project team, through managers to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities. <br>-Organize the project status review meeting.<br>-Track all contract changes with a written Change Order Request and maintain a revision summary <br>-Create and maintain a project cost forecast, comparison of budget to actuals for the life of the project.<br>-Conduct regular project review meetings with both in-house personnel and with the customer and record and distribute the minutes for these meetings in the prescribed form.<br>-Co-ordinate the concurrent development of design and build activities.<br>-Acts as primary customer contact for design, costing and machine related issues.<br>-Manage the schedule of all project phases and milestones, update schedules and initiate corrective action through the department managers..<br>-Conduct Initial Project Build Plan meeting to confirm budgets and schedules for the life of the project.<br>-Monitor progress of the project during design, build and installation by reviewing the performance of the team members against the project schedule. Resolve conflicts through the department managers and supervisors.<br><br><br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br><br>Education:<br><br>College or university degree, major in engineering or equivalent, specializing in mechanical, electrical or controls engineering. Completion of or in the process of achieving the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is required.<br><br>Experience:<br><br>Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with multi-disciplined project teams, preferably in an automation or systems integration environment. Have a practical working knowledge of robots, PLC’s, instrumentation or other machine controls packages, sensors and pneumatics. Preference will be given to those who possess an excellent manufacturing or process engineering background, a superior mechanical aptitude and proven trouble-shooting skills. An ability to work effectively with customers according to deadlines and under pressure-filled conditions is essential. In addition, must be familiar with the use of computerized word processing & computerized spreadsheets and AutoCAD or similar drawing package. <br><br><br>Others:<br><br>Outgoing personality; self motivated and result-oriented.
