One of the world's leading producers of insulin, this North European company also makes insulin analogues, injection devices, and diabetes education materials. In addition to its diabetes portfolio, the firm has products in the areas of homeostasis management (blood clotting), human growth hormone, and hormone replacement therapy. Starting a new Plant in TEDA Tianjin, targeting to grow its production from the current size of 20 people to 700 by year 2012 in China.
Key areas of responsibility:
Developing the communication function from scratch making sure the site (mgmt.) work strategically with communication internally and externally to support the sites’ business challenges
Main job tasks:
Ensure the site (mgmt.) work strategically with communication internally and externally to support the sites’ business challenges
Ensure effective communication infrastructure (e.g. that the site has the right communication channels and that they effectively reaches their target groups)
You will take part in developing leaders’ communications skills through internal training, workshops and seminars.
Handle all media relations in a proactive manner and write articles, press releases etc.
Handle branding and advertising - secure communication about site NNTFP and NN Social responsibility politics (TBL)
Other individual assignments:
Establish employee magazine PS! And take on the role as editor
Degree of independent decisions:
Can work independently handling media relations, as communication adviser, driving different communication projects and initiatives, and take charge of the production of a variety of communication materials (e.g. employee magazine, news letters, intra web site, video clips)
Education & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor or master in communications or journalism
Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Professional experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience with communication – preferably from a larger organisation.
Experience with analyzing, planning, driving and follow up in regards to both simple and semi-complex projects
Good understanding of how organisations work
The ability to advice senior managers in communication matters
Documented experience in handling media relations and practical journalistic skills are a must.
Confident operating online media
High level in graphics and design
