To establish action plan, initiatives and regional business plans (sales, business growth, return on assets/sales and market growth) in accordance with Provincial/WTC HQ objectives, accountable for overall P & L result and performance of the branch based on the targets set by Provincial HQ and relevant Product and functional groups of WTC HQ. Ensure ALL staff that operate out of the branch does so in full compliance to Provincial and WTC policies and procedures, responsible for WTC assets deployment and control of their usage. Provide a superior level of customer relations and delegate day to day operations.

Principal accountabilities of the position
1. Ensure key targets for branch growth and profitability are met;
2. Develop and monitor marketing plans and program to support the business objectives for sales volume, market share and profitability;
3. Establish and maintain close professional relationship with customers and oversee product support operation within the branch region;
4. Monitor and analyse local market and customer activity, and to provide information for long term planning and branch expansion;
5. Provide the necessary resource for promotional programs to create and increase a positive image of the company and its products in the local community;
6. Ensure full compliance by ALL staff on WTC Policies, Procedures, Directives and local HR / Legal regulations;
7. Promote and enhance a partnership approach with Caterpillar to facilitate business and development;
8. Provide leadership and active participation in sales negotiations particularly in instances where management support of sales representative's effort is required to secure a sale;
9. Ensure all staff complies with EHS & Q policies and actively encourage a proactive approach to identifying Risk and Hazards in the workplace. Maintain close cooperation with the EHS & Q Manager;
Selection Criteria
Bachelor degree or above, majored in mechanical engineering or its equivalent;
Minimum of 5 years experience in managerial level and 8 years experience in business, in areas of sales and/or market;
Excellent networking skills with relevant industry exposure;
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Able to participate with Functional Managers to establish strategic plans and objectives;
Integrity and honesty with excellent communication skills;
Self-motivated and able to work under a stressful environment;
Leadership and communication ability;
Excellent command of English;
Proven general management experience at branch level;
Ability to interpret financial statement
